I made a promise with myself to keep a weekly blog on the happenings with the Burn Ward book. Today was difficult to finally get to it, but now typing I feel pretty good about my commitment to self. Work difficulties, a client that attacked a coworker, and no time to work on the rewrite. To add on more bad news my home computer is in disrepair and it became aware as I've gone through a few edits in the book I need to go over the book a final time.
Why? Why am I such a perfectionist? Trust me, in the few edits I had performed I saw a few more typos that both myself and my sister overlooked. Hey with 430 pages it happens, I could get lazy, but owe it to myself and the reader to produce the very best product I possibly can.
So with that said, and how proud I am of myself keeping this commitment, I say goodbye for now, have a great weekend and a-blogging I will go the following week - God willing.
